Workspaces for Teams & Families

Create isolated spaces for different groups. Invite members, share securely, and switch contexts instantly — all with zero-knowledge encryption.

What are Workspaces?

Workspaces are isolated environments where you can collaborate with specific people. Think of them as separate vaults, each with its own members and shared items.

  • Team workspace: Share API keys, service accounts, and business credentials with colleagues
  • Family workspace: Share streaming passwords, Wi-Fi credentials, and household accounts
  • Project workspace: Temporary collaboration for a client or project
  • Personal workspace: Your own private vault, just for you

How It Works

1

Create a Workspace

Give your workspace a name (e.g., "Marketing Team" or "Family"). You become the Owner with full control.

2

Invite Members

Send invitations by email. Invitees receive an email and in-app notification. They accept to join your workspace.

3

Share Credentials

Share any vault item with workspace members. They must accept the share request before they can access it.

4

Switch Between Workspaces

Use the workspace switcher to move between contexts. Each workspace shows only its items, members, and notifications.

Complete Workspace Isolation

Each workspace is completely isolated. Items, members, and share requests are separate. You can only share with members of your current workspace — no accidental sharing across workspaces.

Owner vs Member Permissions

Owner

  • Invite and remove members
  • Share items with any member
  • Revoke shared item access
  • Manage workspace settings

Member

  • Accept share requests
  • View shared items
  • Leave the workspace
  • Cannot invite others

Complete Data Isolation

Workspaces are cryptographically separated. Items in one workspace cannot be accessed from another. Even if you're a member of multiple workspaces, each one is completely isolated — no accidental sharing across boundaries.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many workspaces can I create?

Free users can create one workspace. Premium plans allow unlimited workspaces, so you can organize by team, project, or family.

Can I be a member of multiple workspaces?

Yes! You can be an owner of some workspaces and a member of others. Use the workspace switcher to move between them.

What's the difference between Owner and Member?

Owners can invite/remove members, manage the workspace, and share items with anyone in the workspace. Members can accept share requests and view shared items, but cannot invite others.

Are workspaces completely isolated?

Yes. Each workspace has its own vault items, members, and share requests. You can only share with members of your current workspace.

What happens when I leave a workspace?

You lose access to all shared items in that workspace. Your personal items remain in your personal vault. The workspace owner can also remove you at any time.
